![]() | Commercial Printing Company In 1439 Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press and changed the world. Commercial Printing Company hasn’t been around quite that long (we were founded in 1903) but we certainly have one thing in common with Johannes-we are constantly on the leading edge of printing technology. We were the first in Birmingham to install a four-color Heidelberg Press. In 1998 we introduced Elkote, a product we developed that is now used across the country in book publishing. We realized early on that our customers needed more than just printing, so we were the first printer in Alabama to have a certified United States Postal Service Direct Mail Division. Recently we stepped out ahead of the pack again with a wide-format graphics division that can print virtually any size sign or poster. We also print on just about any material, for aluminum to canvas to cardboard and cut just about any shape imaginable. With our history comes a level of expertise, a sense of pride and a belief that we can offer our clients a unique set of services that have been tried and tested, resulting in strong partnerships. |
